Self-discipline

The opposite self-dicipline means like your mother telling you to stop playing but you just keep on playing. And self-discipline means like you got homework and when your mother ask you to do it you quicky finesh it up. This is a story of self-discipline.

One monday aftnernoon,Jack come to school with his mother. When in front of his mother he is lazy and always play computer games but while he is in front of his teacher he is even worse he do his homework in a dirty hand writing instead of a neat one and when his teach tell him to do this and he do the opposite way. But there is once he became self-discipline and forever be it.It is in one day,Jack go to his seat to read his book when suddenly the bell ring. They all go to their class rooms while Jack still sit in the hall by himself reading at the hall's chair and when the student call him he do the opposite way so he went on reading. And then when recess came Jack go back to the classroom as he just find out there is nobody in the hall. His teacher is in the classroom waiting for him while the other student go to recess when he come in,his teacher is happy that he came back but suddenly his teacher shouted at him because he just remember he came in later 2hours. After Jack go to recess after the teacher scolded him severaly and been cane in the hand he always hide his hand when someone is about to see it. When he came back recess he promise himself that his whole life he will be self-discipline.

Entry 18: Reflective Time for Science (Light Energy)

I observe that there are many ways to use light.Like using light to help me study,look thing cleary,dont make me feel cold and many other.If theres no light around the world we will feel cold and lonely,plants will die,animals that eat plants will also die and many more i think light helps us lots of time even we dont notice it i wish many will use light the the correct way.

Entry 17: Classroom Cleanliness

I think the classroom is not clean because the is pieces of papers on the floor.I made my class clean by picking the bits of papers on the ground throwing it on the dustbin.I learnt that we must made our country clean if not our country might got disease,we might be uncomfortable and loads of rubbish smell that is very,very smelly.I wish that many will save our world and not destroying it.

Entry 16: Influenza A H1N1

H1N1 means that pig or something more dirty combine together and made the disease.It spread by when the person itself got the sickness it will spread around when another person got spread by it and it spread and spread.People trying to stop the H1N1 by using machines to see whether it is 37.6 or higher,if it is they send you to a room,if its not they wont trouble you.I can stop the H1N1 by washing my hands before eating my food,throw rubbish and many more.

Entry 15: SA 1 Review

I think it is fair on the SA1 paper.The papers of all subjects i think its fair.i think i score well on two subjects only on English.the two papers marks is 70more but the English marks is 70below.I think the remedial or enrichment classes in school were useful because without them,we will score even lower marks that we now have.I have a tuition to improve my subjects but i still think if i do assessment it will improve alittle more.I would do all the things that improve my subjects.

Entry 15: Friendship

Once, there were two friends call Harry and John. Their friendship has been very good but suddenly it changes. This is what had happen.

Friday, Harry went to John's house as it is his birthday. He has bought him a present (A car) as John always like cars. When he reached there, John welcome him inside. There are lots of things inside! There were balloons, cakes, presents and lots more. When Harry went in he saw a 1000 dollar note on the floor near the sofa John's father had bought for him. Harry want the 1000 dollars so that he can have just enough money to buy his favourite boat. When he pick the 1000 dollar note up, John sees it and asked him to return it but Harry just won't listen. John wanted Harry to give him the money because John wanted to use that money to buy a big car for himself. So when Harry didn't give him the money, they both ended up fighting each other until John's mother came and stop them saying that if they continue fighting the party will be ruined.
Both John and Harry were embarrass by their actions though they continue the party. When John's mother went to the kitchen to bring out the food for John's friends, they talked to each other and settled their earlier differences privately. They wondered who own 1000 dollar note, when John's father came in kicking a fuss about losing a 1000 dollar note within the house. When John and Harry heard about it, they returned the money back to him. John's father thanked them for returning the money and praised them both.
This is how it end for Harry and John, both of them feeling much happier than before.

Entry 14: Kindness

Kindness means you be kind to others.It is important to kind to other because if you treat kind to others other treat you the way they was treat.People can show their kindness by be kind to others.

Entry 13: International Friendship Day

We celebrate Friendship Day because that day we all be be friendly and make friends.I don't know international Friend ship day.
ASEAN stand for lots of country that was close to each other.I do not know lot about ASEAN.My knowledge about ASEAN is weak because i think i never been there.i like the activities organised by the school on International Friendship Day because there is lots of fun things to see.I do not have any friends in ASEAN country.We can help pupils develop friendship with the ASEAN countries by be kind to them.

Entry 12: Improving the School

Dear Friends
I think we can improve the toilets allot by not shaking our wet hand on the floor,clean our hands with tissue paper.
I think we can improve the 1766 Cafe little by putting more computer that are in good Internet connection.
I think we can improve the CEO Garden by planting more plants and not destroying them by throwing rubbish at the flowers and plants.We can do it by throwing the rubbish in the dustbin.
Students can improve the school by picking the rubbish and throw it in the dustbin.

Our CCA mates put their bags and all that on the chair.We put it on the chair and make sure it dont fall of or being steal.

Entry 9: Activities for Becoming Better Readers

I can become a better reader by reading the newspaper,reading storybooks,check the dictionary if i don't know the meaning,do assessment,study hard,work hard and read lots of books or other.This is my ideal to make us to becoming a better reader

Entry 8: Review of T1 Target-Setting Exercise

The purpose of setting targets for the various subjects is that we can study hard to reach it.i think it is useful because it make us study hard to reach our targets.My plan to achieve it is to do lots of assessment to reach it.My parents is telling to read lots of story book to achieve it.I think the teacher is making us to do homework to help me achieve the targets.

Entry 7: Festivals in Singapore

I celebrate Chinese new year.I celebrate it because we can have good to eat and new things to wear.I celebrate it by buying new foods and drink and put it on the table and wait for guest to come to the house.i know that Indians celebrate Deepavali.they celebrate them because it like their new year.I think the festivals do not help racial harmony.we develop can stronger bonds among the various races in Singapore by asking freinds to come and celebrate together.

Entry 6: March Term Break

Children read story every morning because have a peaceful reading.I like reading storybooks because it helps me know more English words.I like to read the famous five as it got lots of adventure in it.I think story books is good for students as it might help us to know more English words and it also helps them to make their English better.I like to read this author named Enid Blyton because it got lots of adventures in her books.His books were The Famous Five,The Secret Seven and the Wishing Chair i hope to read more of her books!

Entry 4: Journey Earth Hour 2009

We can fight climate changes by not littering and not to waste water and food too much.We should care the animals in earth by protecting it from stones that is throw by bad kids.We must not waste electricity when we do not need because the thing that made electricity might make other places and the country itself hotter then before.

Entry 5: Activities Outside School

I involve tuition in outside school at Tuesdays and Thursdays.I spend 2hours in these each of this activities each day.I think these activities are necessary for me because it can help me in my studies,understanding words and help me to make my target for my SA1.I think it does affect my studies because it help me to reach my target even higher then i score before.I feel stress with all this activities as it got lots of things to do.In my opinion i think pupils should be involved in outside school activities as it may help you to make it better at it.

What I Will Defend

I will defend the the trees and greenery by not throwing litters on the floor and by asking not to cut the trees to build buildings and pencils and all that.I will defend the clean air by planting a lot of trees,flowers and plants to keep the air fresh and clean.I will defend them because they are very important to us.I will protect my family by putting the water into the drain if there any water is in there if not some mosquitoes will come and lay eggs in the water and the eggs will became mosquitoes and suck our blood and I will defend my family by not letting them sick.

Entry 3: My Visit to Thye Hua Kuan Hospital

I see sick people there in Thye Hua Kuan Hospital. I saw some became overjoyed that they cry when we gave them some orange and some jelly. Some were sleeping in bed so we put the things to them without shouting in front of them and say "Wish you a happy good life."

I feel sorry to them because they cannot go to their family and live with them.I also feel happy for them because they are going to leave the hospital soon.

I learn that they are more pitifully then we are because they cannot go to their homes and spend their life's there.

I can offer my service to the community by giving up my seat to the old peoples.

The teachers can organise in class and in school to help students learn the values is that is the student is bored you can take them out to the garden to teach them more things in science and all things like that.
